The National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) is preparing to seek an Immigration Lookout Bulletin Order (ILBO) against a key suspect in the controversial pet dumping case in San Jose del Monte, Bulacan, amid concerns that those involved may attempt to evade accountability. According to NBI officials, the request for the lookout order has already been initiated and is expected to be filed alongside the criminal complaints once preparations are completed.

The NBI also urged pet owners and other individuals with information about the case to come forward and cooperate with authorities, stressing that their testimonies are crucial in securing justice and establishing the truth behind the incident. Investigators assured potential witnesses that the agency is prepared to provide assistance and protection to prevent intimidation or harassment related to the case.

In addition to the planned charges linked to the alleged abandonment of pets, the NBI said it is examining possible violations involving fraudulent business practices, consumer protection laws, and health and sanitation regulations. Investigators are looking into reports that a pet cremation service may have operated without the necessary equipment, raising questions about compliance with legal and public health standards.
