The House prosecution panel has urged Vice President Sara Duterte’s defense team to explain nearly ₱818 million in alleged unexplained wealth as the Senate impeachment court prepares to hear defense evidence on November 9. Bicol Saro Party-list Rep. Terry Ridon cited discrepancies between Duterte’s 2023 Statement of Assets, Liabilities, and Net Worth (SALN) and financial records showing more than ₱100 million in deposits, insurance, and investments. The allegations stem from a forensic report estimating ₱817.87 million in undeclared assets and unexplained wealth from 2022 to 2025. Duterte has denied wrongdoing, while her legal team continues to challenge the prosecution’s evidence.
