Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) recorded 1.29 million passengers during the nine-day Undas travel period from October 27 to November 4, 2026, marking a 4.4% increase from the 1.24 million passengers recorded last year, New NAIA Infra Corp. (NNIC) said. The airport exceeded its initial forecast of 1.25 million passengers by 3.4%, with international traffic reaching 649,691 and domestic passengers totaling 642,194. October 30 was the busiest day, recording 153,901 passengers. NNIC attributed its handling of the holiday travel surge to strengthened airport coordination, additional personnel, heightened security, 24-hour operational monitoring, and expanded passenger assistance services.
