President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. on Friday administered the oath of office to 10 ad interim appointees heading various government agencies during a ceremony at Malacañan Palace.
The 10 Cabinet officials who took their oath of office are:
Executive Secretary Ralph Recto
Justice Secretary Fredderick Vida
Public Works Secretary Giovanni Lopez
Labor Secretary Francis Tolentino
Health Secretary Edwin Mercado
Environment Secretary Juan Miguel Cuna
Tourism Secretary Maria Bernardita Mathay
Transportation Secretary Vince Dizon
Budget Secretary Kim Robert De Leon

Marcos described the group as the “best team” assembled at Malacañang since the administration of his late father, former president Ferdinand Marcos Sr. Recto said the oath-taking formalized their ad interim appointments, with all 10 officials set to undergo confirmation by the Commission on Appointments (CA), which has the constitutional authority to approve or reject certain presidential appointments.
