Nokia has introduced the Nokia 2360 Flip, a new feature phone designed for seniors, children, and users looking for a simpler alternative to smartphones. The device is now available in the Philippines, with a suggested retail price of ₱2,790.
The clamshell-style handset combines the familiar flip-phone design with safety and accessibility features intended to make communication easier for families. Among its standout features is Family Assist, which allows relatives to remotely manage phone settings, add contacts, adjust volume levels, and set reminders without needing physical access to the device.
The Nokia 2360 Flip also comes with a dedicated SOS button that can automatically call a designated emergency contact and send alerts to up to five pre-selected recipients, a feature aimed at providing additional peace of mind for elderly users and caregivers. The phone features a 2.8-inch main display, a 1.77-inch external screen for caller ID and notifications, a removable 1,450mAh battery, USB-C charging, FM radio, and support for microSD cards. It also retains the traditional physical keypad favored by many feature phone users.
HMD Global, the company behind Nokia-branded phones, is positioning the device as part of a growing market for simpler mobile phones that prioritize calls, text messaging, and long battery life over smartphone apps and internet connectivity. The Nokia 2360 Flip operates on 2G networks and focuses on essential communication functions rather than advanced mobile features.
Industry observers say the launch reflects continuing demand for uncomplicated devices, particularly among seniors, students, and families seeking a reliable backup phone.
