The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) has forecast rains in Metro Manila and parts of Northern Luzon due to the northeast monsoon, or amihan, and localized thunderstorms on Tuesday, November 3. Meanwhile, several areas in Southern Luzon and the Visayas suspended face-to-face classes after heat indices reached 41°C to 42°C. Affected schools also shifted to remote or asynchronous learning to protect students from extreme heat.
