The Philippine National Police (PNP) has assured the public that personal relationships and former positions will not affect its efforts to arrest Senator Ronald “Bato” dela Rosa over his pending International Criminal Court (ICC) warrant.
PNP Chief Police General Jose Melencio Nartatez Jr. emphasized that the police remain committed to enforcing the law without favor or special treatment, regardless of an individual’s status or political connections.
To support the operation, the PNP has organized nationwide tracker teams and continues to verify information and public tips that could lead to Dela Rosa’s arrest.
The government is also offering a ₱50-million reward for credible information leading to his apprehension.
The warrant is connected to the crimes against humanity case arising from former President Rodrigo Duterte’s war on drugs, highlighting the PNP’s commitment to carrying out its legal responsibilities.
